Members Present:  K. Bolinger, , L. Maule (Chair), T. Mulkey,  L.Rosenhein,

Absent:  H. Chait, J. Conant ,K. Gaul, S. Shure, A. Sinha          

Executive Liaison:  J. Hughes      

 

1.  The minutes of Jan. 16, Nov. 9, and Feb. 13 were approved provisionally by acclamation.  Absent members will be asked for approval.

 

2.  A discussion of gastric bypass surgery was continued.  C. Barton will be asked to draft a list of qualification guidelines for this procedure. 

            We will also inquire about subsidized and possibly dedicated exercise facilities for faculty.

 

3.  M. Green reported that the Retirement Benefits Committee is being charged by G. Floyd to make a recommendation by June 30 regarding revision of retiree benefits.  FEBC had been previously informed that the process would go well past the date of June 30. 

 

The meeting was adjourned at 8:50 am.
