Evans, T. Harris, M. Lewandowski, R. Lotspeich, G. Minty, K. Wilkinson Absent: S. Frey, S. Davis, R. Ivaturi 1. Minutes approved from August 31, 2007, meeting 2. G. Minty announced that the slate of candidates for the presidential search committee put forth by the AAC was accepted by the Faculty Senate. (vote 23 for, 3 against, and 1 abstention). 3. K. Schmid reported to AAC concerning the On-Line Catalog, Acalog system. Members had several questions concerning Acalog. 1. Several members tried to log-on to Acalog at other universities and had difficulties with the system. 2. Other members were concerned with the cost of the system. K. Schmid did not know the exact cost of the system and would report back to AAC as soon as the concerns were addressed. 3. Since several questions could not be answered, AAC tabled the proposal until more information became available. 4. D. McKee will act as the liaison for President Benjamin. 5. G. Minty explained the committee’s reasoning why an alternate was not named in the original slate for the presidential search committee. 6. ACC will discuss the nine charges given to the committee by Executive Committee in a future meeting. The first three charges have been discussed and the first charge, preparing a slate of 5 faculty members to serve on the Presidential Search Committee was accomplished in a timely manner. 7. Future meeting dates on Oct. 19, Nov. 16 and Dec. 14 at 10:00 in E101. 8.
