Allen, F. Lai, D. Malooley, V. Muyumba, M. Murphy, R. Peters, L. Rosenhein, C. Stemmans, D. Worley Student members: Ex-officio: R. English, S. Gick Executive Committee Liaison: Absent: Guests: M. Murphy called the meeting to order at 3:30 PM. 1. M. Murphy introduced everyone. 2. Nominations were opened for officers. A motion was made and passed that the officer slate be those that served last year, 9-0-0, (Worley/Stemmans). 3. Officers for the 2008-2009 Year are: Chair- M. Murphy, Vice- R. Peters, Secretary- D. Malooley. 4. Following discussion, the regular weekly meetings will be held Tuesdays 3:30 -5:00 PM in Myers Technology 101E. 5. M. Murphy presented the draft charges from the Senate that include; over-site of the new General Education Program, creation of rules for department/school/college definition, proposed structure of the College of Nursing, Health, and Human Services, development of an Academic Master Plan, develop processes for reorganization of academic units, CAAC workload, and regular curricular items. 6. R. English discussed the reorganization of the Office of the President and Provost and suggestions for communication between CAAC and his office. 7. S. Gick provided input for discussion of the minus grade concept and the timeline for Banner8 that will be postponed until the Spring Term. Also presented was information on the Web for Parents that is being developed to allow students to selectively release information to their parents/guardians. 8. A discussion was held concerning the creation of a Task Force to take up the charge for defining a Department/School/College 9. The committee adjourned at 4:17 PM. Respectfully Submitted David J.
