A motion to approve the minutes of meeting #11, 4-9-09, was made and passed, 5-0-1, (Kiger/Peters). 2. D. Quatroche presented the proposal from EESE for revision of the Elementary Education B.S./B.A. Major. 3. D. Quatroche presented the proposal from EESE for revision of the Special Education B.S./B.A. Major. 4. A. Badar presented the proposal from Electronics, Computer, and Mechanical Engineering Technology for revision of the B.S. Mechanical Engineering Technology Major. 5. A motion to suspend the rules allowing for immediate consideration and voting on the proposals was made and passed, 6-0-0, (Peters/Muyumba). 6. A motion to approve the proposal from EESE for revision of the Elementary Education B.S./B.A. Major was made and passed, 6-0-0, (Kiger/Rosenhein). Publish as approved in Academic Notes. 7. A motion to approve the proposal from EESE for revision of the Special Education B.S./B.A. Major was made and passed, 6-0-0, (Kiger/Rosenhein). Publish as approved in Academic Notes. 8. A motion to approve the proposal from Electronics, Computer, and Mechanical Engineering Technology for revision of the B.S. Mechanical Engineering Technology Major was made and passed, 6-0-0, (Kiger/Muyumba). Publish as approved in Academic Notes. 9. Discussion continued on the proper naming of School and College. M. Miller discussed the Nursing model. Further clarification and discussion will continue in proparation of a formal submission. 10. The Committee adjourned at 4:20 PM. Addendum to minutes; A motion to approve the proposal to rename the School of Graduate Studies to College of Graduate and Professional Studies was made and passed via e-mail (4-27-09), 6-0-3, (Malooley/Murphy).
