The objective of this thesis will be to analyze the experience of college football and the impacts it has on the player. The main research of this thesis will be to see how playing in college affects the athlete in three major areas of his life. The areas that will be discussed in this thesis will be how the athlete is affected physically, socially, and financially. This thesis will help show the public how much a single sport that athletes have been playing years in college. It truly takes control of their entire life in almost every facet of their lives. This will help show how the student-athlete is more than just a football player for the university but a valued commodity for their respective universities.en_US
