A study of the compensation for occupational disease in the forty-eight states, the District of Columbia, and the federal government--outlying territories excluded.It is the purpose of this study (1) to ascertain to what extent there exists compensation laws for occupational diseases in the several states and by the Federal Government -- outlying territories excluded; (2) then, after having obtained such data, to study the provisions of the laws on all major topics with which compensation acts deal; and (3) to make comparisons to determine which are good and where improvements in general may be made.
